Cook’s Cafeteria

Meeting called to order: 10 am

Present: Shirley Brahaney, Helen McQueen, Carole Maulden, Katherine Hegemann, Mary Hazel Hensley

Read and approved minutes from September 9, 2006. Change, in the minutes, the tail gate party for Rick Trent to a Spaghetti Dinner

Treasurer’s report of balance in bank of $174.19

The main goal for 2007 should be organize and build our organization

The organization should explore the Party Builder on http://www.dnc.org

Officers except the President will remain the same for 2007. The Vice President request that we try to find someone to hold her office also; however, if it is necessary, she will remain in her office

The building we used for the 2006 election may be available for a permanent Democratic headquarters. The rent would be $250.00 per month

The by-laws were reviewed and accepted with the changes noted

There will be no meeting in December, but there will be a meeting January 20, 10 am at Cook’s
